The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Denver Broncos 34 to 27 to improve their record to 9-5 and grab a hold of one of the AFC’s Wild Card slots.
It was a tale of two halves at Heinz Field as the Steelers struggled for much of the first half, but dominated in the second. And as usual, we as Steelers Nation to vote on Steelers game ball winners for the victory over the Broncos.
On offense, Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, and Martavis Bryant all get ballot slots. So does Markus Wheaton. We’re also giving the Steelers offensive line a ballot slot. Neither Heath Miller nor DeAngelo Williams get them, although you, citizen of Steelers Nation, is free to write their names in.
On defense, Lawrence Timmons, Ryan Shazier, and Cameron Heyward get nods, thanks to their splash plays. Mike Mitchell, Robert Golden, Brandon Boykin, William Gay and Will Allen also had key passes defensed so they get ballot slots.
But remember, you’re not limited to these choices. If you think there’s another player who deserves to be one of the Steelers Game ball winners for the victory over the Denver Broncos, please by all means write their name in, and please take a moment to state your case in the comments section.
And please remember to check back later, as Steel Curtain Rising will have its full analysis up.
