Travis Feeney was a four year player at Washington, having appeared in 51 games. During that time he logged 248 tackles, made four interceptions, forced four fumbles and sacked opposing quarterbacks 15.5 times, including an 8 sack performance during his senior year.
Steelers outside linebacker coach Joey Porter had ample praise the new edition to the depth chart
Porter: "He's got really good body control on the pass rush."

The Steelers decision to draft an outside linebacker is a bit curious, given there are areas of more urgent need. However, James Harrison is likely heading into his final year while Jarvis Jones is in the final year of his rookie contract, so this is likely a pick made with an eye towards 2017.
Video Highlights of Travis Feeney
It is ironic, as no collegiate video highlights package of Steelers 4th round pick Jerald Hawkins exists, but 6th round compensatory pick Travis Feeney has one
The Pittsburgh Steelers will give Travis Feeney a fair shot at making the team and the person whose roster spot is most in jeopardy is likely Anthony Chickillo who ironically was a 6th round pick in 2015.
